Stan Lee signs so much that unsigned is the value

64 posts in this topic

last ComCon Stan Lee signed 22,000 comics... since he is at every Comic Convention that adds up... one day many years from now an unsigned Spidy will be worth far more than signed. Just the way it goes, rarity is the key.

I'm sorry, but you're wrong.

Not to mention that fact that his premise is without merit.

[font:Book Antiqua]I beg to differ...

as of July 01 2013

A search of CGC ss on EBay show 3,809 results

an a search for CGC ss Stan Lee show 764 results

Almost ¼ of the market

The OP Comment its not without merit...[/font]

The topic was comparing signed to unsigned. So, why did you do the math on signed to signed? :baiting:

As a collector, I'd love to get a Stan Lee SS for my PC. It doesn't matter how many he has signed.

CGC doesn't grade computers.

I don't want my computer graded. I want to get one already graded for my computer.

All kidding aside, the same thing was once said about Ray Bradbury. He was so generous and so readily available to his fans that he was teased by another famous author (Harlan Ellison, if memory serves) that his unsigned books would be far more valuable in the future.

This has not held true.
