A very nice portfolio by George Perez from 1977. Published by Omnibus

I couldn't find any past sales on ebay or elsewhere in my quick search. So pricing this on a best guess.

 

Looks like some of these are in the George Perez book - Accent on the first e. Here's a blog which shows some closer up pictures as well.

This isn't that book, this piece is what we normally view as limited portfolios, sold in specialty stores of via mail.

 

Here's another link that comments on the book and lists the portfolio but with no info. Kind of cool.

Self portrait is the cover envelope and it has some very small tears and small light stains you can see in the pictures.

So somewhere they couldn't sell a Hulk 181 and had to strip the title to get their money back? What is the world coming to when a IH 181 can't sell for $0.25?

I think he said he sold it, and other copies at about $25.

Oh well, I just hope it has it and gives it to you for real… :)

 

Me, I have picked a fair copy with detached covers so I can read the story, thanks to a gracious board member. :)

If the pictures gone, in general, it be gone. Nobody on the boards bought it if you can believe that and I listed maybe in late June. So I think I posted it on ebay and it sold for like $25. A year ago it was a $10 book at best.

 

I think I got a PM on it a few days ago offering to pick it up.

 

And I do have more books than I know what to do with. I read Batman 232 for the first time last night and that was a treat.
