Looks like JGL with facial hair and a few crows feet... (shrug)

I do like the first Peter Facinelli pic above. Looks like he could fit the part.

I agree with the post above. This movie likely won't kick off production for another year atleast... If there is any hope for added movies beyond the first one, alot of the guys being mentioned will be back in diapers before they finish any more...

Luke Evans, Eric bana, Patrick Dempsey, Viggo mortensen are all better choices for the doc. I like JGL but he's no Stephen strange

I think Bana and Mortensen would be very interesting. I like your picks.

Mortensen turns 55 in October

Bana is 44. Would be an interesting choice but I feel like he's already flunked out of the Marvel universe...

Mortensen might be a little too old, but they had a fossil playing Magneto, so you never know (shrug)

For me, when thinking about BKV's Doctor Strange: The Oath mini series, this makes perfect sense. More the story of him as a young doctor and losing the use of his hands and his quest to become the sorcerer supreme.

He wasn't really that young though. When you think of how long it takes to become a surgeon and when you remember that he was already estalished as one of the if not the top in his field. He'd have to be in his mid to late 30's right?

Yes, a surgeon takes a while before I went into the military I was an er tech, security guard. At a hospital they were usually all older with the exception of one or two that were 35,37

Wild theory here: RDJ was right for Tony Stark. But now that the Marvel cinematic universe has proven its potential for expansion and longevity after the Big Bang that was Iron Man 1, I think they will look younger for their lead actors, someone cheaper who can play the role longer.

Hollywood seems to be in love with JGL right now but I am not.

You need to be careful with those cockamamie ideas you throw around. You could give some deep-pocketed producer an idea...

If he's in his early 30s, Dr. Strange would just be finishing up his Residency. I'd rather have the role written for somebody with a little more life experience to account for the abandonment of the profession and the taking up of the Mystical Arts.

Plus, DS needs the greying hair at the temples, and so far, Reed Richards' hair has looked like in the movies. I swear, it looks like they use White-Out or something...
