Popular Post bc
Speaking of recent convention pickups, snagged this Thing today from the Akron-Canton Comic Con as an upgrade. The dealer said this is from the S.S. Wilson Collection (??) - the PQ on them were great and none had any Marvel chipping. I was very surprised by the quantity of PHMs present at this local show, but had to stick to my budget Here's what it replaces: -bc mysterio, TheWatcher, Get Marwood & I and 2 others

I prefer 6.0 as a minimum grade for my pre-hero keepers as well, so I can relate. bc

I wonder how common that is. 5.5 are still sweet looking copies. Just missed 6.0 in the CGC graders eyes, but may still be sweet to YOU. If you thought they were a 6.0. There you are. The “World of” books, Strange Worlds, Uncanny Tales, Journey Into Unknown Worlds, etc. are all great books that just lack the following of the titles that survived into the late 60s. This seems especially true for those that don’t have a pre-code component.
