But TOS #38 seems easier to find in 8.0+ than most PHMs as well. Here's mine. KirbyJack, Jasonmorris1000000, FoggyNelson and 3 others

A fun book to have a raw copy of. A notable book for me for two reasons. Firstly, no pence copy exists for JIM #61. That's by design though, as it only has a single bold font 10c cover price version: #61 To have a pence copy, an alternative US font would need to exist: #60 #62 #63 #64 #65 Secondly, it has a ridiculously child like cover image of Gomdulla. Imagine if the cover had the more menacing splash page image instead of the big footed google-eyed cover one: Now that would look cool wouldn't it. I spent many years looking for the pence copy (before discovering the US font link) and grew to dislike it bc

Rumor has it that Gomdulla was a tribute to Al Ludmog, who unsuccessfully peddled Ace bandages as a fashion trend back in the day. If only Al had survived to see his design take off. -bc KirbyJack and Mucheee1

It's symbolism. The whole cover is giving us the missing middle finger, if you know what I mean... bc

Either way, those books didn't get those hammer prices with only 1 bidder. -bc KirbyJack
Mucheee1
I’ll just have to be contented with my copy, which probably cost me $10 back in the day. KirbyJack and bc
Sweet Lou 14
How many PHMs even exist in 9.8? This is the kind of book that isn't just rare (unique?) as compared to other copies of the same issue, it's also incredibly rare as compared to the entire class of books to which it belongs.
