Did you notice there’s a pence version? It’s not a very high grade though. Frisco Larson

KirbyJack
It bugs me to see “Atlas” on pre hero Marvels. If they need a strict dividing line, they can use January 1959. Jasonmorris1000000

Not an easy book to find in nice shape!!! Nice consolation prize! I noticed the bidding on CLink (and everywhere else) has been pretty aggressive for all the PHM books. Some strong prices realized across the board. -bc Jasonmorris1000000 and Frisco Larson

Strange Worlds 1 was cover dated 12/58 That issue also saw the beginning of the "T" job codes as well as a shift to various sub-publishers like Manvis, Zenith and Vista. -bc

Jasonmorris1000000
This one to me has historical significance too because it’s got Kirby, Ditko, and monsters. Now if it only had Stan Lee it would be a pre-pre-hero Marvel. bc

Jasonmorris1000000
If you're not into high grade copies, there're way more affordable than some superhero stuff. I originally started collecting them because I couldn't afford Silver Age Spider-Man at the time. The only one of these I spent over a $100 on was the #1 5 minutes ago, universal soldier said: This thread is dangerous for me. Always loved this era of books but have never dabbled. frozentundraguy
Put in an offer at HighGradeComics for WOF #17 and it was accepted in less than 15 minutes. Now I just have to wait as they confirm if they still have the book or not. My well read LCS copy.
