All I can say is.. if you are a Adams Detective fan.. then this might not be the best place for you.

 

I am also an Adams fan.(hence my avatar) then I got hooked on Bronze Horror... as a side effect of this forum and now I have to stretch my comic dollar even further.

Thats pretty much what happened to me. Started collecting Adams X-Men issues, then his Batman stuff (cause I saw a picture of the best cover ever, Batman 227), then saw his horror covers on his website. A few months later I started reading the Infinite Bronze Horror thread (I have finished it by now) and it was all downhill from there. I think it got me collecting at least 5 or 6 new series

Yeah.. that #227 is a fav of mine..got a decent Vf copy awhile back..man are they hard to find.

 

I dont care if it is a cover swipe..

Funny you both should mention Batman 227! I've got a copy right here that is about as nice of a copy as you could ask for,......except for one thing!

 

It's got sharp corners, no surface wear, clean both front & back, off-white to white pages! A beauty,......with a staple pop. Yep, detached cover from the bottom staple!

I actually spent the last 2 summers working at the Cook and Dupage County State's Attorney's Offices. The job was very interesting but there isn't a whole lot of upward mobility or future financial payoff....unless you want to become a defense attorney, which I don't. Oh well, maybe I will stumble onto a job that pays well and doesn't make me lose my hair within three years.
