I just had a great ebay interaction. Guy has a book up with a BIN of 200+ and a little scan of the cover. No description other than 'great copy'. I emailed to ask about page count, resto, back cover, page color, etc. and asked if he could provide more info. He replied that all of the comics he sells are in bags that are taped closed.

 

Ugh.

 

My reply of course was that if he wouldn't mind removing it and answering my questions I would gladly reimburse him for the replacement tape.

 

Sometimes people suck!

Lots of sellers like that. Thankfully there are tons of comic books out there so you can usually move on and find another copy.
