Can I get some views on this ASM31's grade? Nothing missing, cream /ow pages, no tears inside

Due to the number of color breaking creases and surface wear I'd say 3.5

 

4.0 on the best of days at CGC

Ja thanks thought as much, would be very chuffed with a 4.0...

 

Would it be worthwhile sending such a copy to CGC? I'm too much of a novice to know whether this is a worthless copy.

Normally I'd assume "chuffed" would have a negative meaning, but in the context you used it does it have a positive meaning? Makes me think of chaffed (negative meaning, over here).

 

"Worthless" is relative term. It's a FANTASTIC read and a semi key. I would hardly call it worthless, but I also don't believe it's CGC worthy. There is a reason books at this level are called "Readers"

Chuffed meaning I'd be happy with a 4.0- am I using it different from your understanding?

 

There are not a lot of these ASM's over here, so even though I knew it had issues, I grabbed it

Hopefully it'll gain some value over time but with semi keys such as this one I just like having it!

my first glance was a 3.5
