I have something similar, a full comic bound within another comic at the centerfold. But it's the same book in my case. Cool to see your example of a cover bound within a different book.

I got it from the Comic Connect/gijoed/Joe D. auction in 2010 or so.

Hmm...yeah that would have been waaay after i found it and auctioned it on ebay. I bought a dealer's stock with many multiples of the same issue. This was one of the copies. It went for a pretty good amount at auction if i remember correctly.

The dealer stock was all news stand stuff, so i would say this is very likely the same copy.

This has got me thinking. How hard would it be to take two comics and make a book like this? I'm not saying that is what happened, but if these book go for a serious premium, you would think counterfeits will be made.

I've been collecting stuff like this for a while, and it's usually pretty easy to tell if someone has messed with something. That staple area is a dead give away for the most part.
