X-Men #1 CGC 5.5 OW - last 5.0 went for $3,000, last 5.5 went for $3,300 - I'm looking for $3,300 for this copy which includes shipping and insurance.

My guess would be what appears to be heavy tanning

Those are photos, not scans.

 

They are a little dark but I still believe tanning kept it down. You can see along the edges.

 

Structurally it's a beautiful book. I don't see any big creases at all.

My scanners are horrible, believe it or not, the pics below are the from the better of the two scanners I own. The other one makes the picture totally blurry. I think the stills in the original post from my DSLR are better than these scans, but I'm putting these up for those interested.
