Raw just out of a OO collection, never pressed.

 

Structurally really nice. Super tight at the 1 staple (war comic =1staple)

 

Name written in the "M"

 

Enough Minor flaws to bring it to 6.0

Sensation Comics 19

 

Just out of an OO collection where many of the comics got bug/rodent chews.

 

Lower Grade, but presents fairly well from the front

 

Cover & Center still tightly attached at the 1 staple (War comic = 1 staple)

 

Cover & first 5 pages have a bug chew in the upper right margin (doesn't touch art)

 

Upper left corner has a stain that goes thru the first 7 pages in the margin.

 

Middle of spine has 1 1/2" thin bug chew (only on cover, by WWs right hand)

 

The bad flaw is a bug/rodent chew that goes thru the upper right corner of the back cover and 19 inner pages (getting smaller as it goes into the book). This flaw is mostly in the margins but it does touch some artwork and in a few cases it crops out some words.

Black Terror 22 SOLD

 

Just came out of an OO collection. Never been pressed.

 

This comic has Frank Frazetta art in it.

 

Cover is still attached at both staples but just barely at the bottom one.

 

Centerfold is attached at both staples but there is some tearing around the staples. In fact almost all of the pages have some tiny tears around the staples.

 

The cover has a printing mistake where the blue color was not lined up right and printed 1/4" to the right. Kind of makes it look like a 3d cover.

 

Could use a dry clean.

They are the black and magenta plate which are off-centered compared to the other two – nice effect!

2nd issue of this comic.

 

Has a full page advertisement for Archie on the Radio (making this a fairly early Archie appearance)

 

Cover is still attached at the 1 staple but is a little loose. Spine is actually really nice.

 

This comic is so thick that 3 Centerfolds have come detached from the 1 staple (war comic = 1 staple)

 

Owners name penciled in at top

 

Tiny piece missing at the top right of back cover.

 

Even with the detached CFs I think this is in the 4.0 range

Low Grade/ complete

 

Has numerous creases and small tears. Many tiny pieces of tape on the inside front cover. Probably about 1/3 if the spine has tape on the inside.

 

Tiny triangular piece missing on the back cover near spine.

 

Even with the tape I believe this would get a Blue Label from CGC

 

Would grade in the 1.5 range

Love that Hulk for the grade...yeah it's a little rough but you really get the sense it has entertained a lot of readers over the years, it lived the life a comic was meant for.
