simmer down rerun the OP clearly didn't have grades put up which are the rules, how is stating the basic forum rules for selling considered a c%ckblock, are you kidding..take it to PM with the OP.

"Simmer down"? Did I get upset? Did I flame anyone? I know the rules... and I even stated that the rules are important. I'm the one that didn't get the comic... yet I'm being attacked? This went from a cockblock to a circlejerk in a matter of a single day!

 

The rules were enforced, and someone got to feel good about himself for pointing out those rules. As I said, there's at least one winner here. And I say that with a smile on my face and skip to my step. No simmering down needed on MY end. :)

 

And why would you want to deal with someone who pulls the thread due to not wanting to just list basic grades, that is bad business in itself in this trade

lol I just wanted the comic. If I wanted a 9.8, then I would have sought out a CGC graded 9.8 of the issue. I appreciate you guys protecting me, though.

 

I'm sorry rerun7, I really don't understand your position on this. The rules didn't get pointed out to make mschmidt "feel important". It's to make the forum useable. If OP can't be bothered to make a simple edit to comply with the rules everyone else has to live by, your beef should be with him. Don't shoot the messenger.

That the seller decided to act like a whiny little *spoon* instead of spending the 30 seconds it would have taken for him to comply with the rules that the rest of us abide by is nobody's fault but his own.

 

This is all I'll say to you about this.

 

The internet tough guy angle is played out and tired. I can only assume (since I don't know you) that you a) want to be a moderator b) have rule #7 saved to a word document so you can scour the new For Sale posts and pounce like a cat on a fresh bag of Friskies Temptations c) Thursday d) like to be a troll e) you're actually trying to prevent mass hysteria.

 

You're name calling isn't necessary, and quite frankly my snarky reply isn't either. So let's both move on and call it square. You get your way. The worlds a better place again.

Sure, I didn't get the book, but at least you have the satisfaction of putting someone else in their place, all in the name of keeping order! So at least someone came out of this a winner. :foryou:

FYI: mschmidt did nothing more than cut and past the rules that we all agreed to abide by. rerun got snippy, and then sarcastic thinking he got (in his words) cockblocked from a good deal.
