What is the best way to sell a raw high grade Copper collection (few Bronze)?

5 posts in this topic

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum but looking for advice on how to best sell a small but nice raw high grade collection of Copper (early 80's) and a few Bronze (late 70's) with no major keys. I've been out of the comic's scene for the last 5 years and was wondering what the market for these issues is and can I expect to get close to guide on high grade copies. The collection consists of a run of X-Men from #144 to #213 with most in 9.2 to 9.4 condition with a few at 9.6 to 9.8. I do have a few others titles like Byrne Iron Fist #3-13 in around 9.0 condition. Some Miller Daredevils from #172-190 ranging from 9.0 to 9.4. Other titles such as Marvel Super Hero Secret Wars, Crisis on Infinite Earths most in 9.2 to 9.6 conditions, and other misc titles with the total comics at around maybe 400. What do people think of Craigslist, Ebay or these forums to sell? Any advice is appreciated. I've attached some pics. Thanks.

Not the best period, but not a bad collection to have. If you must sell, your quickest and easiest route is to sell the whole lot here in the marketplace forum - just list them , and set a price you'll settle for. And stick to it.

Selling individually on eBay is the highest return, but don't kid yourself - it's a LOT of work, and your books aren't worth as much as you may think.

Oh, and your scans need to be bigger. (thumbs u

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I may just list all the comics in the marketplace along with grades and pics and see how that goes. I live in San Diego, so if anyone wants to check them out and make some offers that would be cool too.
