Old reader but newbie collector

don't you guys want to open those slabs and flip through the pages of the comics you collect? Do you buy a CGC copy and a raw copy for each issue (maybe in lower grade, just a readable copy)?

 

I don't even do that with my unslabbed comics. I collect comics and I read digital versions. Buying a digital copy would be much cheaper and easier than a low-grade version of a slabbed book. But, that's just me. The only time I really flip through an actual comic is to grade it.

Marvel Masterworks Trade Paperbacks are a great, cost effective way to read the stories as well. Also the omnibuses are fantastic, just a little more $$$.

 

My ASM Vol 2 Omni is one of my most favorite purchases ever.
