1950's tin litho cars in original packaging...1 1/2" cars.

I found these around 20 years ago in an old toy store that had been in probate.

 

I stupidly broke open a set and have a few singles I'd sell for $25 each. A boardie wanted one, then backed out of the deal ::

I have high res scans, but I reduced them to post on the boards. shoot me an email via pm if you want to see the full images. This book is prime for press and resubmit. Last 9.6 sold for $2,350 in Dec 2012.

 

Ask price is $3,500.

 

What would the sole 9.8 be worth? Big potential reward?

Brought to my attention that a MSH18 cgc 9.6 wp just sold on pedigree for 2750.

just did a real close comparison of the two copies....bottom right corner of the recently sold copy has a fuzzy bottom right corner. This copy doesn't.

 

Both copies have a tiny white spot at the bottom staple.

 

The recently sold copy has a bit of upper staple wear too This 9.6 doesn't.

 

White pages....dang...those are sweet, but on a resub the page quality could go from CR/OW to OW...you never know on that.

 

That's my salesmanship....now the book can speak for itself.

Why is MSH 13 priced higher than #12 ?

 

MSH # 12 is Cap Marvel's first appearance. What is up with #13 ? Scarcity ? Story ?

 

I'm just curious as it is the first time I assist a MSH 13 sale and was surprised by the sale price.
