Howdy folks! :hi:

Made a rather large purchase yesterday and need to unload a few recent arrivals that have been sitting around my collection.

No probies, HOSers. Shipping is $5 USPS priority for any amount of books. Paypal only. USA only for these, please. Also, payment is needed no later than tomorrow afternoon on any purchases so I can get them shipped out to you before I leave for a week out of town.

First :takeit: wins and trumps any PMs.

Thanks!,

BATMAN #189 (1st Silver Age Scarecrow)

GRADE: FR

Looks like a fairly presentable G/VG copy, but has some structural issues. The spine is somewhat rolled, the cover is detached at the top staple, the centerfold is loose, and one other interior wrap is popped loose at the bottom staple. But it's complete. Filler copy.

PRICE: $20 :news:SOLD!!!

BATMAN #227 (Classic Adams Cover)

GRADE: PR

Another book that doesn't look too bad bagged & boarded. Unfortunately, this one has heavy water damage throughout, mostly on the bottom half, and all the loveliness that comes with it. But none of the pages are sticking together and it's still complete and readable. A PR filler copy for somebody who wants a #227, but doesn't want to pay big money for one.

PRICE: $30 :news:SOLD!!!

BATMAN #237 (1st Reaper; Classic Adams Cover)

GRADE: FR

This one's a real shame. Colors are still very nice and pop a little bit. Unfortunately, the book doesn't lay very flat (it's wavy) due to improper storage and a slight spine roll. It's also got a pretty nasty tear in the top left corner. But it's complete and readable filler.

PRICE: $20

DETECTIVE COMICS #411 (1st Talia al Ghul)

GRADE: VG-

A few minor color breaking scuffs on the cover, moderate edge and spine wear, and a bit of an upward curve to the spine. Overall, a solid lower mid grade placeholder for a Batman collector.

PRICE: $25

JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY #84 (2nd Thor, 1st Jane Foster)

GRADE: FR

Picked this up from a fellow boardie awhile back and wish I could keep it with Thor: The Dark World coming out soon.

Obvious defects include piece missing from top right corner of cover. Tape on cover and multiple pages. Small pieces missing along right edge and bottom corner of cover. Bottom staple might not be manufacturing. Heavy edge and spine wear. But it's complete, readable and only going up in price.

PRICE: $125 :news:SOLD!!!

FANTASTIC FOUR #65 (1st Ronan the Accuser)

GRADE: GD-

Another one of those dreaded Marvel movie trend books. A few color breaking creases. Small tear near bottom of spine. Moderate overall wear and tear. Solid filler copy of a book that is (for better or worse) only gonna get hotter when GotG comes out next summer.

PRICE: $15 :news:SOLD!!!
