Any Comic Stores off the strip in Las Vegas?

6 posts in this topic

Depending on where you are staying there are a few.

For back issues

Cosmic Comics - 3830 E Flamingo Rd #2 (at Sandhill) (about 5 miles east of the strip, starting at the Bellagio)

Velvet Underground - 4241 W Charleston Blvd (at Arville, in Hyde Park shopping center) also a bit of a drive and they only take cash, no credit/debit cards, from what I have heard. (about 7 miles from the strip, starting at the Bellagio)

For current issues/figures

Alternate Reality - 4110 S Maryland Pkwy (corner of Flamingo/Maryland, behind Long John Silvers) (about 2 miles east of the strip, starting at the Bellagio))

Comic Oasis - 3121 N Rainbow Blvd (at Cheyenne, in the Walmart shopping Center) bit of a drive from the strip

Stripside Comics and Sportscards - 9620 S. Las Vegas Blvd Ste N-8 - near the South Point casino

Hope this helps.

There is nothing within easy walking distance, of the main strip. There is one on Maryland Parkway, about a mile and a half east of the strip, and there is one that has a Vegas strip address, but it is about five miles south of the main strip. You really need a car to get to them. Not worth taking a cab round trip as the closest would run about $30 round trip.

There was an exhibition of Chuck Jones art and animation at Ceasars , but it may have closed.

I stopped by the one on Maryland parkway last year. Its a small store and didn't have much for back issues, maybe about four long boxes. many didn't have backing boards in them. Staff was friendly though.

He actually has some back issues now. Not a lot, but some. Mostly some Spiderman, Action, Wonder Woman stuff on the wall and some other SA/BA stuff in the counters.
