Shipping question

4 posts in this topic

I'm going to be shipping 60 Golden Age Comics to one individual and I'm kind of stumped as to the best way to do it. I've never shipped more than five books at a time. The books are all bagged in thin and then thick Mylar, with boards. My initial thought is to ship them in five or six different Priority Flat Rate boxes wrapped in bubble wrap and of course, insured. Any other thoughts?

Overkill. Get a bigger box and another a little bigger. Follow the packing suggestions in the thread in CG for how to ship raw books. I usually group them no more than fit in a magazine size poly bag. Double box the books with peanuts between the two boxes. The cost of shipping 1 such box via USPS < 5 or 6 priority boxes. Insure accordingly.
