ALEX ROSS ON THE COMIC ZONE!

 

Over the last two months the Comic Zone has been star studded. In August alone Vincent welcomed Thomas Jane (Star of The Punisher), Frank Cho (Liberty Meadows), Sean Chen (X-Men), Marshall Rogers (Batman), Ayers (Sgt. Fury, Ghost Rider), Arthur Adams (Long Shot, Action Comics), Bob Hall (Charlton artist), Joe Jusko (Vampirella painter), Greg John & Rich Bisso (Spider-Man II video game designers) and Euan Kerr (editor of Beano). September was equally exciting with guests like Norm Breyfogle (Batman), Jim Shooter (Marvel Editor-in –Chief/Valiant founder), Ron Garney (Captain America, JLA), Howard Porter (JLA, Flash) and Mark Haspel (CGC Senior Grader). October is off to a great start as Jae Lee (Inhumans, Thing/Hulk) and George Perez (Avengers, Teen Titans, JLA/Avengers) joined the Comic Zone!

Well, they clearly and intentionally posted this stuff on 3 of the different sections here (Gold, Silver, and Bronze), in direct violation of the rules, which they have violated before (and they are well aware that they have violated them having been informed of such volations before). So you just get sick of seeing somebody blatantly break the rules. It's just wrong.

 

Why do they do this when they KNOW that they're not supposed to? Hmm. Greed?

They do it because it works. Even if/when the mods move the threads, the spam has already done it's job. That's why they need a strike for doing it, but they wont get one. I'm going to start posting all my auctions in all the forums and I encourage everyone else to do the same thing. That'll get a response from the mods, I promise.

You're right. I was trying to be nice by saying that. It's not the boy who cried wolf, it's just a spammer blatantly ignoring the rules. The bottom line is that Metro new what they were doing was wrong and they continued to do it anyway because of greed and disrespect.

 

So POV, what's your motive in trying (and failing) to defend Metro and their spam attacks?

You have had an axe to grind with me since the first time I posted on this forum. It is hard fo rme to believe how my posts have ruined your CGC Forum experience to such an extent... I neither have disrespect for the forum nor am I a greedy person. I do have little respect however for someone who states such insulting and libelous remarks in a public forum. I knidly ask you to refrain from such scurrilous character attacks.

Obviously you don't like Metropolis, but if making a few posts OT is the crime you are getting so worked up over, I have to wonder what your personal beef is with them.

 

I buy from Metropolis and will continue to do so until personal experience dictates otherwise. In my experience, their service is excellent. Their books can be a bit pricey but overall I find the price very fair when ordering 9.4 - 9.6 BA horror and actually getting them in 9.4 - 9.6.

 

I also have a good customer relationship with Harley Yee, Superworld, Outer Limits, Redbeard's, Bedrock City and other dealers. I would treat all of them the same way, as more friend than enemy. So I guess THAT is my motive.
