Captain America Annual #5 cover - not Frank Miller?

....for what it's worth, I owned the cover about 15 years ago. I purchased it as a Hannigan cover.

 

Shortly after I received it, a friend (and Miller collector) contacted me saying he thought that it was done by Miller, and offered me a nice trade - which I took him up on. From that point on it's bounced around with Miller's name attached, with an ever increasing price attached to it as well. ($35K is ridiculous IMO, even if it was Miller).

 

I guess it doesn't really clear up much other than to add that until the late 90's it was being attributed to Hannigan. But, I wanted to pass the info along anyway so anyone interested can make their own determination.
