Due to confusion. in the thread is king. PM'd offers are great, but unless it's in the thread the book is still available.

 

 

I'm starting to cut up a(another) new collection. This was a collection put together by a Grandfather, Father, Son trio, and hails from the Houston area. For the earlier books there is not alot of condition, as most had tape to the spine that has since fallen off. But books from early 60's are fresh, with great page quality. Some books will be listed with oxidized staples. These staples will have a dark patina, but not nasty rust, or paper migration.

 

HOS or folks on probation are not welcome to buy, but anyone else is, so whether you are in the US or international I'm happy to sell to you assuming that you will pay for trackable shipping to your location, which is additional and will be calculated at cost whether you buy one book or all of them.

 

Paypal, checks (which will clear unless I know you), or MOs are happily accepted. If you are outside the US you must pay via Paypal.

 

As these are raw books I will accept returns if you are not satisfied. Return shipping is on you if it is a simple matter of a normal disagreement in grade, but if I missed something material (like resto) then I will also pay return shipping. Money will be refunded after I get the same book in the same grade back in hand. Any CGC books listed are non-returnable as they are a known quantity.

 

I'll gladly take PM offers on these, and will be more flexible with lots than I would be with individual books.

Brave & Bold #38 – G/VG, solid book with good color and white cover whites, spine and edge wear, matching printing creases at lower right front and lower left back covers. Biggest issue keeping book from a higher grade is some paper loss on the back cover with some holes that have penetrated the cover, may be tape pulls. Interior pages are not affected. Holes at top edge above “20”, in word “least” in top line of large red type. Cover and centerfold well attached at both staples, all pages present. $22

 

 

Brave & Bold #39 – VG, light general wear, slight paper loss at bottom left corner of back cover. All pages present, cover and cf well attached at both staples. $30

 

 

Brave & Bold #40 – VG, solid book with light general wear, series of short production tears like Marvel chipping at top of back cover, minor chip and small tear to bottom of back cover. All pages present, cover and cf well attached at both staples. Really nice color. $22

 

 

Brave & Bold #41 – Technically G+ but looks VG/F, very solid book with light general wear. Manufactured with bottom staple only (no holes for top staple), and cover is very slightly loose and centerfold has detached (this is reason for technical grade). All pages present. $12

 

 

Brave and Bold #43 – Poor, obvious water damage. Cover detached but complete, extra staples added to hold it on, book is complete and readable with all pages. $5

 

 

Brave & Bold #45 – Poor, cover and cf detached but present. Book is complete and readable, but has general wear. $3

 

 

Brave & Bold #46 – G/VG? Looks Fine, but bottom staple has popped through cover and first seven pages. Ironically the centerfold is still attached at both staples, and all pages are present. Otherwise just light general wear. $8

 

 

Brave & Bold #47 – VG-, solid copy with light wear and a 3” crease in upper right corner of front cover. Light staining at bottom of back cover that does not affect inside cover or any pages. $10

 

 

Brave & Bold #48 – F-, nice book with only light wear, crease in bottom right corner of the front cover, cover and centerfold firmly attached at both nicely centered staples, all pages present. $20

 

 

Brave & Bold #49 – VG, looks Fine but has a light stain at bottom edge of front cover just left of center. Very solid copy. $15

Batman #113 – Poor, cover very nearly detached but not quite. Book appears to be missing 3 pages but all three Batman stories are complete and fully readable. $5

Batman #117 – Poor, tape stained spine, staples are both present and holding cover and centerfold. Centerfold has a large tear but no lost paper. Stain on lower right front cover does not affect any pages. Solid book with light wear if not for spine stain. $10

 

 

Batman #118 – Poor/Fair, cover detached, but all pages present and attached at staples. Book is fully readable. Moisture staining to back cover, moderate foxing. $10

 

 

Batman #120 – Poor, tape stained spine, spine roll, cover barely attached, centerfold well attached, all pages present and readable. Page quality is actually quite nice. $10

 

 

Batman #122 – Pr, light tape stain on spine, light general wear, staples and centerfold are attached. One non-story page is missing, but all three Batman stories are complete and readable. $5

Batman #157 – G, main issue is moisture flaking at bottom front cover that does not affect inside cover or any pages, also some light scratches in upper half of cover, otherwise book is solid with only light wear. Cover and centerfold attached at both staples, pages are all there with nice PQ. $10

Batman #163 – VG, looks a bit nicer, but light edge and spine wear and a light long crease in lower right corner of front cover. Edgewear and light creasing to back cover. Pages complete. $30

 

 

Batman #164 – VG-/VG, spine wear, light wrinkling to color (some breaks color, some doesn’t), minor edgewear, covers have very light humidity staining to edges (mainly bottom edge) that is mostly visible in interior covers, cover and cf both firmly attached at both staples, pages complete. $16

Batman #159 – G, stains on front cover, general wear and some wrinkling to both covers, page quality is decent and both cover and centerfold are firmly attached at both staples. Solid lower grade copy, would be better if not for stains. $15
