BREAKING NEWS! We have just received on consignment a phenomenal run of Amazing Spider-Man for our upcoming January, 2014 Grand Auction. The auction will begin the night of Monday, January 6th and last for ten (10) days until the evening of Thursday, January 16th on the Pedigree Comics website’s (www.PedigreeComics.com) separate Grand Auction section. The sooner you consign your books the more exposure and press they will receive. We aggressively promote and advertise each Grand Auction on many online sites and trade publications and we also send periodic newsletters to all of our over 19,000 customers announcing the individual auction items. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and EVERY item will have no reserve. Every book is CGC graded and there is no minimum bid for this special Amazing Spider-Man Auction.

 

The Amazing Spider-Man consignment consists of a near-complete run of Amazing Spider-Man #1-#400 plus Amazing Fantasy #15, Amazing Spider-Man Annuals and Spectacular Spider-Man magazine. Most of the books in the consignment are a CGC certified 9.4 and higher with almost every comic above #187 in 9.8! The consignor purchased many of the issues himself from the newsstand where he lived in Long Island, New York and when CGC began operations in 2000 he started submitting his books for certification. He would also purchase higher graded issues from dealers around the country, focusing on eye appeal and page quality. Most of the books in the collection have off-white to white or white pages and a bunch are still in the old CGC labeled holders. He meticulously put this run together over the past 15 years and it is almost complete, with only 5 issues missing!
