strange because i sold my early x mens etc on ebay and got a ton of money for them....i guess no one's informed ebay buyers that the comics theyre buying are 'worthless' because they bid furiously for them...

They are talking most comics found in basements. Most comics now found in basements are 1980 and up comics.

When was the last time somebody found a run of silver age X-Men 1-10 in a basement?

Most likely they will find the 1990s run of X-Men 1-10 in their basement.

An example is

Silver age X-MEN run of 1-10 = $$$$$

Most comics books post 1990 found in basements = Should be recycled for profits
