Mark Millar has been at the top of my list for a few years now. I would love to meet him and get a couple of signatures. :wishluck:

 

I also need Jim Lee on one of my books and I am always down for a Larry Hama or Herb Trimpe G.I. Joe sketch. :cloud9:

 

Can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for our collections! :headbang:

2014 will be my second year as a CGC collector. I've spent this year trying to learn the ropes. I've done pretty well, made a few missteps, but I'm really excited about 2014!!

hm for 2014

 

Celebrity Wise:

 

1) Finish my Serenity books

 

2) I picked up two arrow books one cast started from Joel at Wonder con and one just Amell. Ill probably add to them both,

 

3) start Smallville at Megacon

 

4) try and pick up some new Star Trek movie sigs besides what I already have

 

5) the Hoff will be at Chicago so that means bay watch comics of course

 

6) other than that I plan to have a stack of books with me for sdcc, so that I am better prepared than I was this year. Hoping they do an Antman, and Avengers Signing.

 

Art Wise:

 

1) I want to add a nice splash from Jim Lees X-Men run to my collection

 

2) I'd like to pick up another Kubert Xmen cover

 

3) More Kubert Xmen pages

 

4) a Silvestri Xmen cover

 

5) another Mark Brooks commission

 

 

All in all it should be a fun year I don't think that there are any creator sigs I am after. I'd like to get a Stan lee on a xmen 1 or dd 1 but those are back burner items and behind any of the OA goals for the year.

 

Should be a fun year ill be at ECCC for the 1st time this year so ill get to meet a lot of boardies that don't make it to the east coast shows. Also looking forward to SDCC as I've got a buddy flying in from Singapore that is going to attend the show with me and it will be nice to meet him in person. Finally Heroes just because ill have at least four booths set up for CGC at the show with an assortment of various artist friends of mine I'm bringing as guests.

 

As for my dscott slush fund whatever the wife lets me spend lol

I need just two more sigs to complete my Serenity/Firefly set: Morena Baccarin and Sean Maher. I'd like to get one with Joss Whedon, as well.

 

As for sketches, we'll just have to see. . . I'm focusing on one or two big books for the year, so those might take precedence. However, if I'm sitting on a little bit of money and the right artist comes along, I may jump on it.

Through Juns(Force Majeure) relationship with HT, we have been able to do 3 sketch opps with Harvey. Really love his home commissions as he has more time to do more detail than at a con

As for celebs, a Muhammad Ali signed anything would be great.

I'm mulling over going for more celeb sigs this year.

 

Putting a major dent in my TNG cast book, I have Stewart so the start is good. I want the whole main cast, I'd be thrilled if I could land John DeLance or the likely impossible to get Ashley Judd. Sure, they aren't main cast, but it would be awesome.

 

Stargate book with the 4.

 

Farscape with Browder and Black.

 

Arrow with Amell and Cassidy.

 

The absolute top of the list is a Supernatural with Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Jim Beaver, Misha Collins, Mark Shepard, Felicia Day, and Katie Cassidy.

 

Doesn't need to be slabbed, but Tom Baker anything.

 

For sketches, well just everything Doug offers up, just like last year.

 

Neil Adams don't care if quicky.

 

Adam Hughes.

 

Stuart Sayger.

 

JSC.

 

Nei.
