Great Richard Ayers twice-up page from this story of a ghost ship and doomed treasure entitled THEY VANISHED FOREVER from STRANGE TALES #98. Published in 1962 as THE HULK was premiering and the hand-lettered announcement in the bottom border proclaims "THE HULK IS SENSATIONAL!" A bit of Marvel history and a very nice page. 13" X 20". Very clean in fine condition.

Awesome large art VIGILANTE story page. Half splash with the Electrocutioner leaving a threat for the District Attorney. Very good condition with graphite soiling.

For those that wondered, this system's software would not allow me to use the four-letter diminuitive form of Richard, so I had to refer to Mr. Ayers more formally. Can you imagine if we were chatting about Messrs. Van Dyke or Nixon? It doth give one pause.
