Well... 2013 brought a ton of awesome new titles and that means a lot of changes to your pull lists. What is on your pull? How many titles is that?!?! Mine is out of control at 85 books... I need to cut some slack but where to begin =(

I only put books on my physical pull list that I'm absolutely crazy about, only my favorite titles get pulled, but there's a lot of books I pull myself off the shelves based on mood lol

I just amended mine today actually :)

 

Dropped loads including:

 

All New, Uncanny and X-Men (BotA was just pointless and enough with the constant Jean Grey mess)

Bedlam (Delays = interest plummets)

BlackAcre (I really enjoy this but nothing since October, no output, no commitment to buy)

Mind the Gap (not as suspenseful or shocking with reveals as it thinks it is)

Morning Glories (too convoluted in singles, and not enough distinction in the art)

Nowhere Men (Delays = interest plummets, happy to read if it makes it to the 2nd trade)

Revival (the story didn't hold my interest)

 

I'm keeping:

Batman

Black Science (For the first arc, so I don't miss an issue and will evaluate)

Fatale (backlogged by about 15 issues :eyeroll: )

Harley Quinn (#0 was rubbish, #1 average fare)

Letter 44 (Intriguing premise, really don't like the art though)

Manhattan Projects (backlogged by about 16 issues :eyeroll: )

Peter Panzerfaust (backlogged by about 5 issues)

 

 

Generally I like my comics to entertain me and not be poorly produced, confusing or just boring, and almost all Marvel and DC have been dropped because it's either rubbish crossovers, media cash-ins or nothing of any consequence occurs to actually be worth reading/collecting.

I may be closer to your number sooner than later because I'm losing interest in a lot of stuff. I love comics but I feel I've read some of these stories over and over. As much of a loyalist as I am to Peter Parker and traditions, SSM by Slott was a breath of fresh air . Lemire did the same thing for me with Green Arrow. I like when there is something new and different and with as many books as I've read, that is getting hard to find.

Yes. I have the Batman New 52 complete run and didn't want to handle them but wanted to go back and read the story. I bought the first trade in digital. I don't hate it but I like the print better. I don't know if its because of the feel, smell, weight, or just old habits but I like to hold the book when I read.

 

I read the news on my PC or an Ipad, watch video on both, but I for some old fogey reason draw the line with comics. I may change in time but I'm a long way from it right this minute. lol

You guys are putting me to shame on the massive pull lists. But, I'm primarily a trade and hardcover reader. Stacked bookshelves look way better than piles of longboxes in my opinion.

I really only pull single issues to cgc them.
