I suspect that you're right about newbies winning. I entered the contest when I first joined the boards, and on my second or third correct entry, I won.

 

I'd been here over a year when I won.

...I think it took me about a year of correct answers before I won,...but I won twice in the last year...I'm still surprised my answer this week was wrong,...could have sworn the answer was Canadians.......
