Should I trade my WD 3-118 collection for a WD #1 ?

54 posts in this topic

This depends on the grade of the #1, and the grades of your 3-10's, 19, 27, 48 and 92. If those would grade even in the 9.6 range, it's a bad trade for you. You could sell those copies alone graded, and even with a few 9.8's have enough to snag a #1 for around $1750 on eBay, or at the very least greatly off set the cost of the #1.

In fact, there's a #1 on the boards at 9.8 that hasn't moved at $1,700.

You also need to find one smart enough not to waste $500.00 on a purse.

Good luck with that. ;)

I found one that doesn't care to drop $500 on a purse. But even if she did I would have difficulty criticizing that given the amount of coin I spend on comic books.

Tell your girlfriend to sell her Louis Vuitton bag six months after she buys it. See what she gets for it. She will get 66% if she is lucky. I have sold a few things for a couple of relatives on eBay... they cannot believe that they do not get their full $500 back on a Coach bag. They are lucky to get $100-$150.

You need a new girlfriend and you need to tell the next one that until she marries you, she has no say in what you buy or don't buy.

I see no emoticons, but I'll assume you're not being serious here. (shrug)

What do they say? I don't want to assume what you might be assuming they say about assuming.
