Great book.. classic cover!

 

And not really "first Atom in silver age" - in the usual sense.

 

When Flash in SC4 is first flash in solver age.. that is true... first time the super hero with the powers we know from flash etc. shows up in the silver age.

 

And this is the way it is when a hero turns up in the silver age... either it is the exact same person.. or perhaps someone else assumed the same hero persona.

 

In this case however.. this is NOT the case. The hero named Atom in the GA has ZERO connection with this Atom. They are simple two completely different super-heroes.. not only the person assuming the role.. but the entire superheroes have nothing to do with each other.. and it is a bit unfortunate they happen to have the same name...

 

So this is actually the first appearance of Atom... period. Not only in Silver age... (the little fat guy from GA has no connection with the real Atom here).
