Avengers Finale - SPOILERS

So they all get together, Tony Stark tells the group the Maria Stark Foundation is out of money, they have a last meal and toast to the fallen in the ruins of the mansion (which will now be a memorial), and the Avengers all wander off their separate ways.

 

Then, to remind us that Bendis today is the Stan Lee of yesterday, they cut in pages from Avengers #16, when the first line-up changed. This is apparently to foreshadow the New Avengers #1 coming up, and to justify what Bendis and Marvel have done to this title.

 

Whatever.

 

Good luck to Marvel with the new title, as I do not plan to ever pick up another Bendis title again - especially a team book which he has already proven is where he is weakest, and with uninteresting characters like Cage, Spider-woman and Sentry.

 

Oh, but Wolverine and Spiderman with liven things up, I'm sure Christo_pull_hair.gif
