Haha you could say that, I work for a District Attorney's office, so this is beyond being up my alley!

In response to your question about whether or not to slab, I'd say it's really about what will make you enjoy the book the most. I prefer my books slabbed but many collectors really enjoy flipping through the pages.

CGC can do a restoration check and provide a grade for the marketplace. Then your book can be carefully stored or displayed for its cover.

 

 

Right now you can read the book.

You can smell the old newsprint.

You can wonder what young child held and read that same book in early Summer 1942.

 

And if you want to, you can do these last three things over and over again.

 

I know which one I'd choose.
