MISS FURY comics #5 Good/VG ... Terrific WWII Japanese Timely. Flat tight book with moderate general wear, supple light tan pages. Some small tears in cover edges and at single staple, cover is still holding on. $225

PLANET Stories volume 1 #1 VG- With its Winter 1939 cover date, this Fiction House mag pre-dates Planet Comics #1!! The FH pulps are so much cheaper than the similar comic titles but people are catching on ... Tan pages, some tiny tears on cover edges, tiny piece of tape on bottom of spine, slight waviness from past storage, still a nice example of this scarce first issue ... only SOLD

one more pulp for tonight ....

 

WINGS Summer 1948 Good- Classic cover on this one by Norman Saunders shows Bettie Page-type gal bound to rocket (copied for the comic issue #91?). The pulp is so much rarer, you never see the later GGA Wings pulps ... Rough but with decent eye appeal, lots of tears and tiny chips off cover edges, tape on spine and old tape stains. $45

That Miss Fury was the toughest one in the series to find...took me a long time to find one with a complete cover.

I've been looking for a nice low grade Miss America #1 (Timely one-shot from 1944), but it has eluded me.

Hi Andy , yes, Miss Fury 2 was the 2nd hardest one, but not nearly as hard as this one.

 

I have a low grade copy of that Miss America one Shot, been looking for an upgrade for years, . It's VERY tough.
