Legion's Quest (Pre Age of Apocalypse)

I just received from CGC... among them is Uncanny X-Men #320 (Legion's quest part 1) Always a big fan of AoA, so I figured, I'll get the pre-story......

 

I know there is alot of those with a WIZARD logo (I think those were the common ones)

 

What supprises me was that it said that, it's a newstand variant and noted that it's has a $1.95 price tag instead of a $1.50

 

Was there a change over price in 1995?? If so, which ones has a more print run??

 

Anybody has more info on these?

The regular edition is $1.50. The deluxe edition is $1.95. You have the deluxe edition.

IIRC, it was the paper stock. The Deluxe editions featured glossy paper, while the newsstand(?)/non-deluxe featured the regular paper. Also, Deluxe editions carried a $1.75-$1.95 cover price and their non-deluxe counterparts were $1.50.

Ahhhh.......$0.25 to $0.45 to get a deluxe edition....the good old 90's days
