We have just received on consignment a gorgeous certified 9.4 copy of Amazing Spider-Man #1 for our upcoming March Grand Auction. Scheduled to begin in just over one (1) week on the night of Monday, March 24th and last for ten (10) days until the night of Thursday, April 3rd, the auction will have approximately 250 choice high grade CGC certified Marvels and DC’s from the Silver and Bronze Ages plus other genres and publishers. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and almost every item will have no reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $100. The newly consigned Amazing Spider-Man #1 is a 9.4 with off-white to white pages and is tied as the third highest certified copy behind only 1 in 9.8 and 4 in 9.6. A VERY hot book of late, It is also one of only 11 examples in 9.4, one of which just sold earlier this week at auction for a record price of $119,222. It adds to an already impressive list of early Silver Age Marvel keys and gems that is the highlight of the auction and easily one of the best groups of investment quality Marvels ever offered in a single online event.
