How much effect do you think this tear will have on the overall grade of my COMIC

I'm going to say 4 to 6 grade drop for mid grade book, higher drop for a high grade book and a lower drop for a low grade book.

Can't really say without seeing the rest of the book. Would probably limit the grade to around a 4.5 at best, although if the rest of the book was high grade it's the kind of thing I'd describe with a qualified grade.

Is TAPE the answer to preventing it from getting worse?

no, handling it as little as possible is the answer. Either way, any archival tape worth using will get you a plod, and there is no longer a grade bump for sealing a tear with regular tape.
