Original Sin Marvel Preview

Just read Marvel's preview mag for June. Original Sin looks interesting, and super happy the Doc will be centre stage for this event. Long overdue.

So what exactly is the overview of this besides its the next big event, and there will be loads of tie-ins? Someone kills Uatu, and heroes have to find out who? If thats all, I am not very compelled.

The way I've seen it explained is the basic story will be the murder mystery. The extra bit is that someone has killed Uatu and taken his eye(s), He has seen some things in his time so this person now has access t o everything Uato has witnessed. It sounds like our heroes will have some damaging secrets revealed to the public.

 

I believe I saw someone on twitter call it the NSA leak of the Marvel universe

Hmmmmmm, I think I've heard of that plot device before somewhere....

I have a feeling that some of the old "What If" story lines may become reality, as the eye holder's will be able to see these. I can see this story line actually being some of the best stuff written by Marvel in years (and they need this).

So, the house of ideas is just rehashing DC's less than stellar events from recent past.
