For moderns, I typically use the Ultra Pro 7.5 x 11. You can fit moderns in mylite2 with full back pretty snug in one.

 

Anything bigger, I use the magazine sized versions.

Where did you get the shelves from?

 

They are part of a wire shelving system that you can buy at Home Depot:

I just turn the open part up and mount with 1" L brackets. Books have just enough clearance from the wall to lean without having to support the front.
