Pretty much. If only these companies would realize the April fools jokes they make would sell like crazy.

What's sad is if they are to do this, any movies based on those comics would still be out faster than DC's Justice League.

I've seen several "April Fool's Day" jokes online today.

 

"Because announcing this tomorrow just isn't funny" may be true, but if the joke isn't funny on April Fool's Day, guess what? That just means its not funny. If you can't actually fool someone with it, it's a terrible April Fool's joke! Moving it to March 31st when people aren't expecting it is just an admission that you're terrible.

 

In other words, it doesn't surprise me at all that Bendis had to resort to this. This joke post is still better than 3/4 of the actual comics he's written for Marvel.
