Dreadstar movie on the way

Stupid question: To tell prints on the Marvel Graphic Novel series, would it actually say 2nd print (or whatever) in the copyright info? 1st print would only have issue date? Thanks!!

For the Dreadstar Graphic Novel; the printing number is listed under the ISBN at the bottom of the first page. The first printing is not noted, it has nothing under the ISBN, only the reprints are notated.

Also, It would not surprise me at all if there is a sketchbook from a con or something from the late 70's somewhere with sketches of dreadstar pre-Epic Illustrated . Im sure Starlin had this brewing at least a year or two beforehand.

Vanth looked very much like a self portrait of Starlin in those days. Many Starlin sketches from the 70s would look like a Vanth prototype. Starlin drew himself, Steve Englehart and I believe al Milgram into a MOKF book where they try to mug Shang Chi and get their asses kicked. The character who fights Death in Star Reach One could be Vanths long lost brother.
