The Great Allentown Comic Con returns for a One Day Summer Show July 12th! The GACC is the Valley's ONLY Comic & Pop Culture Expo dedicated to producing celebrations of sequential art and popular culture by providing unique access to talented artists, media guests, and collectible dealers.  As well as family fun events such as Costume Contests, Panels, Games, and of course great Door Prizes all day! Show InformationOne Day Show - July 12th, 2014   Location: Merchants Square  1901 S. 12th Street, Allentown, PA Hours: Saturday 10am-6pm Admission Cost: One-Day Pass $12 per adult FREE for children 12 years and under, must be accompanied with a paying adult Save $2 when you arrive in costume! Roger Jackson Roger is best known for his role as the voice of Ghostface in the Scream slasher films. He also does the voice of the maniacal monkey genius Mojo JoJo, The Rowdyruff Boy, and Butch on The Powerpuff Girls. He has also performed in animated films and television programs such as Disney's The Book of Pooh as well as Nickelodeon's The Wild Thornberry Movie.  Visit his Facebook page: Roger L Jackson Karan Ashley Karan's first acting job was as Aisha Campbell, the second Yellow Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, replacing the late Thuy Trang (Trini Kwan). Nicole began her journey into the cosplay and convention world in 2011. During the past three years she has traveled around the country for numerous events and conventions and she has judged a number of contests and been a part of many panels. The Great Allentown Comic Con! is pleased to announce that Nicholas Brendan will be attending our Summer Splash! show on July 12th.   Nicholas Brendon is best known to audiences as Xander Harris, the sardonic best friend who assisted "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" for the entire seven-year run of the cult series. After more than 10 years away from the series, he’s currently enjoying a return to Sunnydale -- this time as a co-writer for portions of Dark Horse Comics’ series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 10.”   Need inspiration for your design? Just Announced! - Rebekah Isaacs Artist - Buffy the Vampire Slayer Rebekah got her first published comics work drawing "The After Hours" for the Twilight Zone series of graphic novels from Walker Publishing.  Soon after, she moved to Devil's Due Publishing, where she started out as a guest artist on Hack/Slash before working as series artist on Drafted and a Sheena miniseries.  She is currently penciling and inking Angel & Faith for Dark Horse Comics, with writer Christos Gage and Executive Producer Joss Whedon. The Great Allentown Comic Con! is pleased to announce that Asutin St. John will be attending our Summer Splash! show on July 12th.  Austin has been known to audiences as Jason Lee Scott in all of his incarnations, starting with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and ending with Power Rangers: Wild Force. Just Announced! - Bob McLeod Bob McLeod is a comic book artist best known for his art on titles such as New Mutants (which he co-created), Action Comics and Star Wars. As an inker as well as his work as an inker on The Amazing Spider-Man, Incredible Hulk, New Titans, Web of Spider-Man and Wonder Woman.   Bob began his career working in the production department of Marvel Comics in 1973, but soon began penciling and inking for Marvel’s Crazy magazine, doing several movie satires and the “Teen Hulk” strip. He went on to become a top inker at Marvel and DC on many series, including The Incredible Hulk, Conan the Barbarian, The Legion of Super Heroes, Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, and The New Titans, as well as penciling Star Wars and several issues of Spider-Man. (Panel Room 2) "Captain" Kyle Williamson is an actor, writer and filmmaker who grew up with a love of science fiction and superheroes.  Over the past year he has combined these passions to create a number of short fan films, mainly in the realm of Doctor Who. Join him as he shows off some of his recent creations!        4:30 PM - Costume Contest! (Panel Room 1) This one is easy...show up in a costume! Just think...Halloween could come twice this year!  Did we mention that anyone in costume gets $2 off admission at the door?  Hosted and Judged by a Panel of Celebrity Cosplayers - Nicole Marie Jean, Riddle, and Marie Grey!         4:30 PM – Learn to Draw! We cover all publishers, with columns reviewing every book released each week from Valiant, Zenescope, IDW, and Archie.
