CGC restoration question

Apparent 3.0 means that the book visually looks like a Universal (Blue Label) 3.0 (G/VG) but that appearance was obtained through restoration.

Slight A means the level of restorative work was amateur... a slight amount of amateur restoration. :)

SA vs SP ( Slight Amateur vs Slight Professional )

You'll also find MA, EA, MP, EP etc...

Moderate and Extensive

The higher the degree of resto work done to a comic, the less it is worth compared to it's Universal (blue label) homologue

Yes, but obtained through additive treatments only, some addition of non-original materials.

Non-additive restorative treatments are not included. Such as disassembly, paper-tucking under popped staples, pressing, vintage staple swapping, spine shifting and dry cleanings. Basically any enhancement technique that doesn't resort to substance or chemical usage.

Minor detail, but important towards understanding what the label signifies.
