PGM: Captain America #171 w/Mark Jewelers Insert

Blunted corners, light scuffing to back cover, OW/W sharp edged pages.

Slight miss-wrap, small tears at staples, 1/4" crease BRC.

Concerned that the tears at staple area will knock down 1 full grade or more?

I don't see the small tears at staples. I'd give it 8.0 not taking those into account.

The tears around the top and bottom staples are small but definitely visible. I think you'd be in the 7.0-7.5 range. Having the Mark Jewelers Insert I'd still consider slabbing it. Nice comic..
