ASM #1 pricing question

Just to let you know that it's very hard to find a problem free, low grade ASM1 at a convention. They usually don't even make it to the shows to begin with because the dealers sell them locally. Your best bet is to find reputable dealers who do not have a brick and mortar store. Then either get to a show first, or stay in touch with them and let them know what you're looking for and what you'll pay.

 

FWIW, that 1.8 you showed a picture of seems to have a higher cover grade than the grade on the label indicates. If the rest of the book is like that, I could see that book getting a 2.5 on a resubmittal. Most 1.8's don't look that nice, IMHO.

 

Note: Not trying to rain on your parade. I want you to make it happen. Hopefully boardies will throw out some names of good dealers who can help you with your hunt.

I see raw spidey 1's at shows all the time...most lower grade
