And everyone remember "free" comic book day still costs the store, so leave plenty for others and spend some money!

1st Saturday in May is Derby Day.......free comics & movie releases be damned.

I'll be heading to my LCS to meet Jim Steranko and get a signature on one of my books.....Then heading to another close by store to meet Ken Hunt so he can do a Thanos sketch on my Thanos Rising #1 blank variant. Cant wait!!

FCBD is the day my local store gets flooded with welfare families who take armloads of books, and then disappear until next year. Regulars ask for their copies when previews comes out, and get them set aside unstamped in their reserves. Beats missing out on something you really wanted. They don't stress the rest, but it's not usually a good day at the store.
