PGM Doctor Strange 1 - Copy 1

11 posts in this topic

Hi everyone, I'm going to sell a few books soon, but I'm just getting back into the hobby after a hiatus. That said, my grading is a little rusty. What grade do you think this book is?

The first copy of Doctor Strange 1 - Book looks decent, is flat and cover is still somewhat glossy. Major flaws include - Spineroll. (Note white border down left hand side.), Note the chips in the lower left edge. (Also, I wasn't able to see the pictures as I scanned them, so the LRC defects on the first two copies or Dr. Strange 1 are shown in close up pictures.)

Also, I apparently scanned them upside down.I rotated the images in paint, but that's why the images are the way they are.

- First 3 images in album

So everyone, what do you think? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi – it’s better, as a general rule, to have one book per thread (maximum three per day), so to give each other the possibility to share the first page. (thumbs u

There is an "unofficial" thread suggesting these rules, but probably got buried as it was not "stickied".

Hi, to make things easier for the graders, I am posting your pictures here.

It is easy (I use Imgur too) – just click once on one of your pictures' thumbnail, and this popup window will appear:

Then select either BBCode or Linked BBCode to get the correct address (already formatted) to post a picture or a clickable thumbnail of it. A single click will copy the correct address, so you’ll just have to paste it here in the text.

Before posting, be sure to add the desired size by adding a single letter at the end of the address, see here (scroll down to "image thumbnails"):

A manual way to share any Internet image is this one:

you just have to Option-click (Ctrl-click under Windows) or right mouse button click the desired picture and then select "Copy image URL" or "Copy image address" (I have it in Italian so I’m not sure).

After that, all it takes it’s to put the URLs (web addresses of the pictures) between image "tags", here. It will read like this:

Here’s the picture obtained with the above text code, as you see I added a "h" at the end of the address to have a certain picture size.

And the other two while I am at it… :)

This is the code I use, it gives you a large thumbnail and you can click the picture to get the original size, maybe someone should do a sticky for Imgur, it's so much better than anything else

As you see, your address ends with a "l", which means "large".

You can change the thumbnail and/or picture size on the fly by changing this letter digit, as I posted it is explained here: http://api.imgur.com/models/image

Maybe we should add a "short guide" for Imgur users in the "Welcome to the PGM" thread, which is buried somewhere… hm
