Marvel Essentials Black and White Reprints make great coloring books!

5 posts in this topic

Well I recently went to my local comic book shop in Sudbury, and bought a few of these issues for a 1/4 of the cover price in the discount bin. I was going to read them, but my 2.5 year old has now become a future inker in the medium. I will have to post some pics but he has transformed my Punisher into a really cool looking coloring book.

If you get these cheap and have some toddlers to keep busy presto 200 page coloring book that will last ya awhile.

Great story and a cool idea. I have avoided these because the first one I picked up was early x-men stuff and to me, the old uncanny x-men screamed colors and cultural diversity. I may back and do a little coloring myself. lol

Some of the Bronze "horror" titles like Tomb of Dracula and Werewolf by Night translate very well to the black and White format.
