So everyone here agrees the #1 NYCC is most unwanted cause its a con varaint and technically a second printing?

:baiting:(shrug):takeit:

It's not technically. It's printed on the book " second printing " :makepoint:

That is the biggest reason I :preach: it's not a first print

Thus does it deem it worthless? I tell you what I'll trade you my #1 a or b your choice for one. Any takers? I think not. Case closed.

Was the blank #6 and #6 black and white covers the ones with only a 100 print run??. I got the set of 7-12 OA sketch variants ordered. They only have a print run of 200. I also have a 9.8 cgc graded NYCC #1 so I believe the count is to 88. I am sure Tim has more than the one he is giving away in the raffle. A friend of mine has one as well. So really 87.

Can you imagine the chaos if Tim came on and said, "Oh wow, sorry, guys, that 'second' print on the NYCC book was a misprint." :ohnoez:

KIDDING! Obviously, it's a second print....or as I prefer to describe it....an extreme short-run subsequent promotional print. lolmeh:facepalm:

One thing I am having a hard time figuring out is why does the NYCC have such a high price when the Enormous 1 Phantom Creature Feature Black and White with a print run of approx. 150 is selling for only $17.99??? Does this seem odd to anybody else?? I mean issue 4 and 5 are just expensive with a print run 10x as many???

Ok, just for fun, we'll run the count(down) on the NYCC #1 book with Boardies, much like the TMNT folks do with their #1 1st print books.

:whee:

Let's try to keep it to folks who have placed the book(s) in their collection with little to no intention of selling anytime soon. If someone does end up selling, we can put "SOLD!" next to their name.

(The Authority -- I think there was some confusion on whether or not you owned two copies from your comment at the bottom of Page 270 of this thread, so I'm leaving you out until further confirmation.)

Let the countdown begin!
