also I know it looks funny on the top of the cover, not sure if that's a shadow or just the miscut of the book making it look trimmed but it's not (at least I think it's not)

Bottom edge looks a little off, Hector. I'd say 8.5 otherwise. I think it comes back purple. I hope I'm wrong.

I count twelve or so spine tics, chipping at the top, staple stress and a blunted upper right corner. I'd be comfortable signing off on an 8.0-8.5.

This is not trimmed at all. This issue had all kind of funky miscuts bordering in the unbelievable! Here’s mine for a comparision…
