Picked up a copy of Air Pirates Funnies #2 from HPB in Austin, any thoughts on the grade? Thanks

that is a great cover with awesome colors but the rough edges on the bottom it would be a smokin copy at least a 7.0 or better as is

Great copy of an awesome book. Air Pirates Funnies doesn't get the dues it deserves such a historically significant book in the comix world.

Agree - scan is also a bit small but somewhere in the 7.0-8.0 range.

 

The AP books used to be a lot harder to come by years ago, but they seem to be much easier to find these days in decent shape, which leads me to believe that at some point a few hundred copies were held in storage by the publishers until it was clear that had Disney lost interest.
